Every great team has that one member who keeps morale high, brings a little extra personality to the office, and somehow manages to steal the spotlight without even trying. At LeadingResponse, that honor belongs to none other than Gidget—our beloved Chief Paws Officer.
As a proud French Bulldog with a big presence (and an even bigger attitude), Gidget takes her role very seriously… well, as seriously as one can between naps, snack breaks, and making her rounds for well-deserved attention. But don’t let the snorts and side-eyes fool you—she’s an essential part of the team culture and a daily reminder not to take things too seriously.
Give me your 30-second elevator speech.
Gidget here—Chief Paws Officer (CPO) at LeadingResponse and full-time office personality. My daily responsibilities include greeting employees (whether they want it or not), supervising snack distribution, and conducting highly important morale checks via snuggles. I also specialize in light mischief—nothing too disruptive, just enough to keep things interesting. My long-term goals? Simple: maximize treat intake, secure more couch time, and continue being the most beloved (and slightly chaotic) member of the team.
Who is your hero?
Definitely Scooby-Doo. He’s brave… eventually, loves snacks, and always sticks with his crew. Honestly, I relate to him on a very deep, snack-driven level.
What is your biggest fear?
Angry cats. The confidence, the claws, the complete lack of warning—it’s unsettling. I prefer my coworkers a little less… stabby.
What would you change about yourself if you could?
I wish I had a tail. Not even a big one—just something I could wag dramatically when I’m excited. Right now, I have to wiggle my entire body, which is effective but a bit exhausting.
What is your proudest accomplishment?
I once chewed up a Kong toy in under five minutes. It was supposed to be “indestructible.” I took that personally.
What makes you laugh the most?
Wiener dogs. I don’t understand the proportions, and I don’t think I’m supposed to. It gets me every time.
If I could do anything for a day, I’d be a backup dancer for Jennifer Lopez. I’ve got the energy, I’ve got the attitude, and I’m pretty confident I could learn the choreography… or at least freestyle something impressive.
What’s the most daring thing you’ve ever done?
Jumped off the couch. No hesitation. No regrets. Absolute adrenaline.
Is your glass half full or half empty?
Completely empty. I knocked it over. Problem solved.
Where do you see yourself in five years?
Realistically? Still at LeadingResponse, still adored, and ideally sleeping on an even nicer couch. Growth is important.
Thank you!
